Over the weekend the Viking Track team competed at the Conference Meet. There were many great performances and personal bests! Congratulations to the 7th boys' team for placing 2nd overall! Highlights include:
Kayden placing 1st in both the 100 and 200 meter dash. Followed by his teammate Eli who took 2nd in both!
Haddin placed 2nd in the 800 and 3rd place in the 400.
And the 7th grade 4x200 relay team of Eli, Haddin, Yayra & Kayden placed 1st with an impressive 11 second lead on the next team!
Highlights for the 8th grade boys' team include:
Khyrii placing 1st in the 200 meter dash and 2nd place in the 100 meter dash.
Gunnar placed 3rd in Discus and Jeron placed 3rd in High Jump.
The 4x200 relay team of Olin, Khyrii, Tommie, and Ethan placed 2nd.
Highlights for the 7th grade girls' team include:
Ariel placing 2nd in discus and Tessa placing 2nd in high jump.
Highlights for the 8th grade girls' team include:
Nora placing 2nd in the 400m dash.
And the 4x200 relay team of Zemirah, Taylor, Nora, and Damiya took 1st place. This relay team has also been undefeated throughout the whole season!
