Monday, March 12- Friday, March 16th
Period 2, 5, 6 and 9
This week the students will be investigating the properties of volcanic ash and igneous rocks. There will be an ash lab write-up due on Thursday 3/15. There is also a volcano quiz scheduled for the Thursday 3/15. The students will finish the week working on a rock cycle interactive, using the laptops. The students will receive a Volcano study guide, midweek, that will be due next Thursday, 3/22. The Volcano test is scheduled for Friday, March 23rd.
Period 3
The students have just begun the Volcano unit. They will be finishin up the notes and watch a video called "In The Path of a Killer Volcano." They will do a volcano classification activity and investigate the properties of viscosity in a lab. The lab write up will be due at the end of the week.
