Tuesday, Jan. 24: With your partner, go to one of the links below. Dehydrated Water Dog Island           Petroldirect RYT Hospital Save the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus Should we ban dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO)?   Spend 15 minutes navigating the site so you understand what it's about. Once you're familiar with the website, answer the following questions on a piece of paper with your partner: 1. What is the title of the website? 2. Who (or what organization) is responsible for the content of the website? 3. When was the site last updated? 4. What is the purpose of the site? (advertising, entertainment, opinion, etc.) 5. Does the site include links to source information? 6. Are there any "red flags" regarding reliability? 7. Put it all together and make a decision - is this a reliable website you could use for a research paper? Why or why not?   Now pick one other site from above and repeat the process. Answer the questions on the back of the same paper. Don't forget to put both names at the top.
